a little bit of this, a little bit of that

In clearing out my photo cache, catching up on updates, and tidying up a bunch of loose ends in Lightroom on my new desktop, I came across a bunch of small (onesie to four-photo) sets. These shots don't have a few dozen accompanying images to tell any kind of story, they're just the odds and ends of the first half of 2013 that feel pretty enough to be blogworthy. Shows, pets, portraits, sunsets, new apartments, and even a little bit of film work, all from just carrying my camera around with me more regularly:

And last but not least, two photos from a double-exposure film project I did with a woman named Luna up in Canada. It was the most fun and creative, off-the-cuff shooting I've done in quite a while, and totally reinvigorated my want to do more work with film / get better at using my dad's old manual AE-1 Program.

I know these look a little "baby's first high school double exposure project" or whatever, but I've got to start somewhere, right?  <3
