A last-minute photoshoot with Martin, Nakita, and sweet little Elijah for some family holiday cards! These three have such a specific, warm energy when they're all together -- I'm very much looking forward to documenting more of it at a family shoot with them sometime this summer or spring.
Here are just a few of my favorite moments from the day:
I've known Meg since we started working together at my current dayjob -- even though she's moved on to a different career path, and keeps a crazy pace taking care of her two young boys, we've somehow managed to stay in touch. She and her husband Max are some of the most interesting, down-to-earth people I've met in Seattle, and it was a privilege to take a few hours on a Saturday to document them + their sons in Ballard. Can't wait to see how the holiday cards turn out!
The first in a handful of end-of-year family shoots, gearing up for the holidays + with it the card-sending season. I met Leah and Jason at home in their apartment on the north end of Seattle, and spent a few hours documenting a quiet-ish morning + a little jaunt at the park with their son Magnus.

Slogging through edits is a dream when you get to see this little face a hundred times!
